The British Council International School Award recognises our commitment to developing a truly international ethos across the school, and to exploring issues of global citizenship within the curriculum. Since its introduction in 1999 some 600 primary and secondary schools nationally have secured this prestigious award, which is valid for three years.
Assistant Headteacher and Director of Language College, Chris Lillington, said:

"We are extremely proud that our commitment to internationalism and global citizenship has been recognised in this way. We now have partnerships with schools in fourteen different countries around the world, and this prestigious award gives value to our work in this area."
