• Fountains Abbey visit as a basis for coursework [History around us] - 1 Term

The Modern World

• Study of key themes in 20th century history

• Study in depth of British history between 1906 and 1918

• Coursework topic dependent on subject teacher

YEAR 11

• The Irish Conflict[Modern World study]

• Investigation of current problems in Ireland linked to past events Coursework  - Half Term

• Germany 1918-1945[A modern world study] - 1Terms

The Modern World Year 11

• The Irish Conflict coursework

• Depth study of either United States, Germany or China
