Forms
Extension Task : Forms

Forms are a useful way of entering data. They allow the user to view the details of just one record at a time. You can add a key or instructions on how to enter the data or any useful instructions onto the form. Using a form makes it easy for the end user to fill in the data and add or edit records. Below are some examples of forms.

To make an effective form you should consider the following criteria:

Are all the fields included?
Are the fields in a logical order?
Are the spaces to fill in large enough but not too large?
Is the font easy to read?
Is their a clear title on the form?
Is it clear how the user should fill in the form? EG Is a key needed for some fields?
Are all the fields aligned?
Can all the fields be seen on the screen at once?
Is the colour scheme appropriate and is their enough contrast between background colour and font colour?

Can you think of anymore?
