LIBRARY RULES

 

When the Librarian or a teacher is supervising the Library you MAY:

• Browse
• Read
• Borrow books
• Return books, research
• Do homework
• Use a CD ROM
• Write
• Think
• Sit
• Work as a pupil librarian for stamps and credits
• Use a computer in J with permission
• Use the internet
• Revise
• Use an encyclopaedia
• Make notes
• Write an essay
• Write a poem
• Draw
• Calculate
• Speak to the supervisor in a whisper
• Photocopy
• Attend reading club
• Attend Reading Group

 

You MAY NOT:

• Make a disturbance
• Use the East Door of IL
• Eat or drink
• Break any school rule
• Dump returns
• Walk round the Library unnecessarily
• Leave
• Drop litter

 

When no adult is supervising the Library you MAY NOT ENTER

• Unless you are in the Sixth Form when you must still observe the rules.
