    Local firms have been extremely generous to students at Prince Henry’s Grammar School over the last few weeks and their sponsorships have certainly been bearing fruit, with all the sponsored teams winning in their recent matches!

  • SPEEDING TO THE F1 IN SCHOOLS FINALS

    Year 13  students Ciaran Clarke, Isaac Parsons, Olivia Gordon, Liam Brown, Joey Williamson & Oscar Ruane, from StormForce, came in 1st place at the Formula One in Schools Regional Finals, also winning awards for the Fastest Car and Best Engineered Car. They will be representing Yorkshire and the Humber at the National Finals at Silverstone Race Track, competing for a place at the World Finals in Texas.

    We’re all in this Together!  It’s time to Getcha Head in the Game and get your tickets for this year’s fabulous musical production, a tenth anniversary production of High School Musical. It's on from Tuesday 1 March to Friday 4 March 2016 at 7.30pm.

  • FIRST XV FIGHT TO THE FINAL

    The First XV rugby team are celebrating after a tough week with two hard matches took them to the Final of the Yorkshire Cup. Bad weather cancellations meant that the team, made up of boys from Years 11, 12 and 13, had to play their quarter final against Wath on Monday and their semi final against Ripon Grammar School on Wednesday.

    Social media star Joe Wicks, the Body Coach, came to Prince Henry's this week, to share his philosophy of exercise and healthy eating – Lean in 15. A Level and BTEC PE and Food Technology students enjoyed a 20 minute high intensity workout, followed by a lesson in cooking healthy food to feed their bodies after exercise.

    Students from across the years at Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley were rewarded for their achievements in all areas at the annual Prince Henry's Celebration Evening at the Leeds City Museum Central Arena. Over 500 students, invited guests, proud parents and carers and staff enjoyed the experience as sponsors and Guest Speaker, author and raconteur Professor Gervase Phinn, handed out prizes for academic and personal achievements and service to School and the Community.

    Over 100 students and staff took part in our annual Christmas concert, with ensemble and solo performances brightening everyone's Christmas!

    310 parcels set off to the charity Syria Relief , thanks to our generous students and their families. Students and staff donated shoeboxes filled with toys, games, warm hats and gloves and toothbrush sets to be given as presents to Syrian refugee children.
