  • CELEBRATION EVENING IS A GREAT CELEBRATION!

    Students from across the years at Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley were rewarded for their achievements in all areas at the annual Prince Henry's Celebration Evening at the Leeds City Museum Central Arena. Over 500 students, invited guests, proud parents and carers and staff enjoyed the experience as sponsors and Guest Speaker, author and raconteur Professor Gervase Phinn, handed out prizes for academic and personal achievements and service to School and the Community.

    Over 100 students and staff took part in our annual Christmas concert, with ensemble and solo performances brightening everyone's Christmas!

  • FANTASTIC STUDENTS GIVE GENEROUSLY

    310 parcels set off to the charity Syria Relief , thanks to our generous students and their families. Students and staff donated shoeboxes filled with toys, games, warm hats and gloves and toothbrush sets to be given as presents to Syrian refugee children.

    Look North came into school to find out the story behind our visiting Mathematics teachers from schools in Shanghai. The teachers have been teaching Maths in school for three weeks.

    Our Student Sports Leaders enjoyed an inspirational visit from Sky Sports Athlete Mentor and Rugby League star Paul Broadbent. Paul spoke to them about his journey to becoming an elite athlete and the commitment and determination needed to succeed at the top level. He then led a practical session with younger students, passing on his skills.

    Young people from the UK, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Germany came together at school and in Leeds for an International Youth Conference on Climate Change.  They explored the idea of climate justice - how the actions of one part of the world affects the life of another.

  • EXAM SUCCESS CONTINUES AT GCSE

    There is excellent news today regarding our results at KS 4. Our students have matched last year’s best ever results for Prince Henry’s, with 75% of students achieving 5A*- C including English and Maths. This is particularly impressive given that the bar has been raised on both English and maths GCSE exams.
