It was a sensational evening at Prince Henry’s as the school’s annual Talent Show, in aid of the school charities, lit up the stage. There were skills on display as diverse as Ju-jitsu, high speed rubik’s cube solving, DJing, stand up comedy and songs from musicals and the world of pop.

The event came to a nail-biting close as the voting was incredibly close. In the end, the victors were The Band, a trio of a singer, guitarist and saxophonist, singing Wonderwall by Oasis. Joe Staniforth, Logan Tinkley and Jessica Thompson in Year 9, pipped DJ Jake Rollinson, Year 8, at the post, winning by just one vote. In third place came Georgiana Robinson and Katharine Howard from Year 8 & 9, with a dazzling display of ju-jitsu skills.

The finale of evening saw the school staff band, The Manic Creep Teachers, perform while the votes were counted. The event raised funds for St George’s Crypt and The Teenage Cancer Trust, raising £250 overall.
