TRAVEL

For information on School Buses, timetables, routes and passes, please contact Education Transport on 0113 3481122 or educationtransport@wypte.gov.uk

Alternatively, please visit www.generationm.co.uk

Students are issued either with a SCHOOL CARD, enabling them, where necessary, to travel to and from school on a scheduled service bus, or with a BOARDING CARD. The Boarding Card applies to a particular vehicle and cannot be used on other routes. In these cases, students who wish to stay behind for an extra-curricular activity collect, from the school office at 3pm, a token which they present to the driver with their boarding card.

Any persistent problem of transport should be brought to the attention of the Deputy Headteacher. Metro's Educational Transport section (0113 247 5501) and First Leeds Schools’ Liaison Office (0113 381 6510) are always keen to co-operate in solving problems.

SIXTH FORMERS' VEHICLES

Sixth formers wishing to use motorcycles or cars should first pass the appropriate test and then consult the Head of Sixth Form in order to arrange for the issue of a Permit. Passengers should not normally be carried unless parent/carers have agreed. All traffic must observe the speed limits and warning signs.
