BOXING DAY BARBARIANS ARE BACK!

Otley RUFC are hosting the fourth annual Prince Henry’s Barbarians vs Otley Invitational match at Cross Green on Boxing Day, kick off 2pm, supported by Otliensians RUFC. Everyone is welcome for what should be another entertaining game on and off the pitch. Gates open at 11:30am for the curtain-raiser at 12pm, PHGS U12s and U13s Mixed Game!

The PHGS Barbarians side will once again be coached by ex-PHGS legend Pete Latham, MBE and the Otley side are coached by current 1st XV player, Simon Willet.

Entry will be £5 on the day (under 18s free), with 50% going to charity and the remainder towards the PHGS Rugby Fund. Last year, with a crowd of over 500, £3000 was raised in total, half of which went towards a charity to support rugby players with mental health issues.

The charity being supported by this year's game is the Otley Town Mayor’s appeal, raising money towards a community minibus, to be used by the Otley family of schools and expand opportunities for Primary school students in the town.

We have had some exceptional prizes donated for the Top Ten raffle – including 2 tickets to watch England play at Twickenham, and a £300 Brook Taverner clothing voucher, along with other prizes, and many other prizes yet to be announced. It promises to be a fantastic day.
