  • STUDENT TAKES BRONZE AT EUROPEAN FIELD ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Year 13 student Joe Fairburn is celebrating, having won the Bronze Medal in the Junior Men’s Recurve category at the European Field Archery Championship in Slovenia this weekend. This has been the culmination of 12 months of qualification tournaments throughout Great Britain & Northern Ireland in order to qualify. His medal also means automatic qualification for next years’ World Field Archery Championship in Yankton in the USA.

  • GCSE SUCCESS!

    Despite increased challenge in many GCSE exams and a different grading system for many subjects, students at Prince Henry’s have produced an impressive set of results. Year 11 students have outperforming previous year groups and have managed to secure the best ever set of results for Prince Henry’s Grammar School.

  • COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMME SELLING FAST

    The new Community Education programme at school kicks off on 16 September. There are 31 courses for all levels in 10 different languages (including Arabic) and, running alongside, a series of Hobbies, Healthy Living and Wellbeing courses. You can enrol by post or in person, right up to the first week of the courses, but some courses are already sold out!

  • 100 YEARS FLEW BY

    Over 350 people of all ages flocked to the 100 Year Exhibition at Prince Henry’s Grammar School. AS well as local dignitaries, who attended the launch, the public exhibition rang with cries of “I haven’t seen you since 1963!” as ex-students saw each for the first time in decades.

    Year 10 students spent their Timanyane (Global Citizenship) Day working with organiSations in Otley. The day saw students working on community projects such as ​working with Leeds City Council Park Rangers on the Chevin and at Otley Cemetery, Otley in Bloom, Otley Courthouse, Ashfield Primary School, The Whartons Primary School, St Joseph’s Primary School, at Otley Town Council Allotments, with Wildlife Friendly Otley and the Bridge Church.
