  • TIMANYANE VOLUNTEERING IS A GREAT SUCCESS

    This year’s Timanyane Day was a huge success, with students volunteering in the Community and visitors from across the area leading workshops and discussions in school. “Timanyane Day" (which means "Let's know each other") is where Prince Henry’s focuses on themes of Global Citizenship, Sustainability, Social Justice, Equality and Diversity.

  • CENTENARY TAG RUGBY FUNDRAISER

    Old Otliensians RUFC, with the support of Otley RUFC, are hosting a PHGS Rugby fundraising event on Saturday 2nd July – a Touch & Pass festival of Rugby. 75% of any profits will go to the PHGS Rugby Fund which pays for vital kit, equipment, and logistical costs for our Rugby teams across school. The remaining 25% will be donated evenly to the Rob Burrow MND fund, and the Doddie Weir MND fund.

  • STUDENT WINS EXHIBITION

    Year 13 student, Aaron Ung, has been selected from across the country as just one of 15 entries to be exhibited at the German Embassy in London. The exhibition has been created from the Zusammen – Together Across Cultures German language competition created by DAAD the German Academic Exchange Service and the Institute of Modern Languages Research at the University of London.

  • BANDS RAISE THE ROOF FOR CHARITY

    Student bands from Prince Henry’s Grammar School rocked Otley Courthouse, raising over £500 for Martin House Hospice. The evening was a welcome return for the school’s Bands’ Night, an annual event which is held in support of the charity.

    We have welcomed our new Headteacher, Sally Bishop, to lead the school. Sally has joined the school from Ilkley Grammar School, where she was Deputy Headteacher for 7 years as well as providing school to school support for other secondary schools.
