    On Monday 4th October 2021, we will be welcoming Year 6 pupils to our Open Evening, accompanied by a parent/carer. COVID-19 restrictions mean that we need to operate a different format to our usual Open Evening programme. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to giving you a taste of life at Prince Henry’s, and assisting you in deciding the high school to which you wish your child to transfer in September 2022.   • HARD WORK PAYS OFF AT GCSE

    Despite all the uncertainty and challenge of the last two years, students at Prince Henry’s, with the support of their teachers, have produced an excellent set of results. Year 11 students have worked hard to overcome obstacles and have been rewarded with very well-deserved success. An impressive number achieved top grades across a range of subjects, including the much sought-after grade 9 (equivalent to an A*+). In addition, the analysis of results suggests that Prince Henry’s students of all ability levels have achieved well whilst at Prince Henry’s.

  • GREAT A LEVELS RESULTS REWARD HARD WORK

    Otley Pool and Bramhope Extended Services Cluster have organised a summer of fun for local youngsters of all ages, based at Prince Henry’s Grammar School, with camps covering a multitude of interests from multi-sports to swimming and football, dance and drama and the return of the Leeds Rhinos Netball Camp.

  • PREPARING FOR THE FULL RE-OPENING OF SCHOOL

    Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 22nd February, school will re-open to all students from 8th March. In order to offer asymptomatic testing to all students prior to their return, there will be a staggered return by year group, with all students back in school accessing face-to-face teaching by Thursday 11th March at the latest.

    *Each student will be given a specific time slot and will only be on site for the duration of their test. They will not be expected to wear school uniform on this day.

    Ahead of the phased full re-opening, school will only be open for:

    • Vulnerable students (identified by school) where parents have accepted a place for their child
    • Children of critical workers from all year groups where parents have booked a place for their child

    If you are a critical worker and you need to apply for the in school provision, please complete the form here. Your place will be confirmed when the form has been reviewed. If your requirement is urgent, please call school on 01943 463524.

    School Transport

    From Monday 1 March, school buses will run for the children of critical workers and vulnerable children as they have been during lockdown, with 3 buses covering the routes as on the Connexions website. Buses will not run to facilitate students attending school for testing. The full bus service will run from Tuesday 9 March.

    Today is the day when we would usually hold our annual Celebration Evening, celebrating the achievements of our Year 11 and Year 13 students in their formal exams and the achievements of students from Year 7 to Year 13 across the year. We are unable to hold the event in person this year, but we are still enormously proud of our Students' achievements.
