A WIZARD NIGHT OUT!

Students from Prince Henry’s Grammar School will be easing on down the yellow brick road to Emerald City, as they perform the super soul musical, The Wiz, based L Frank Baum’s classic book The Wizard of Oz.

A cast from across the school will be performing the show. From Dorothy and her friends Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow and Tin Man to the munchkins, Evellene, Glinda and The Wiz, all the characters audiences expect to find will be dancing across the stage in this multi award-winning musical.

“Numbers such as I’m a Mean Ole Lion, Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News and Y’all Got It! will have you dancing in your seat as our fabulous dancers, talented cast and especially created Show Band give their all. Our students always put on a great show and we look forward to welcoming everyone.” said Peter Condry, Head of the Performing Arts Faculty.

Tickets for the show, which runs from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 February at 7pm, cost just £8 for adults and £6 for concessions and children and are available from School Reception on 01943 463524.
