NATIONAL LOCKDOWN JANUARY 2021

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 4th January, school is now closed to all students except:

  • Vulnerable students (identified by school) where parents have accepted a place for their child
  • Children of critical workers from all year groups where parents have booked a place for their child

If you are a critical worker and your circumstances have changed, please follow the link in the letter below if you now need to book a place for your child.

School Transport for Vulnerable students and children of Critical Workers

Although the school buses still run through all the main pick up points, there will now only be three buses running up until half-term. Details of the revised routes and pick-up times can be found on the Connexions website.

From Tuesday 5th January, all other students in all year groups will be provided with remote learning via Firefly and Microsoft Teams, and will be expected to work from home. Further details of our Remote Teaching and Learning provision can be found here.

As you will be aware, the Government have allocated catch up funding to schools, to support them in working with students who have been particularly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. Our strategy and plans can be found here.

Please see further details in the letters below, together with a copy of the current version of our updated risk assessment.
