JOIN US FOR YEAR 6 OPEN EVENING!

On Monday 3rd October from 6pm until 8.30pm, we will be inviting Year 6 students and their parents and carers to join us for an evening of hands-on activities, talks and tours, to find out about life at Prince Henry's.

Previous comments on our Open Evening include “Very informative. Some very confident, articulate, polite students. Bodes well!" from parents and “Very very x1000 good.” from a Year 6 child.

“Our annual Open Evening is a great chance for prospective students and their parents to see everything that is on offer at Prince Henry’s. It is always popular and we are delighted to be able to welcome Year 6 pupils and their parents and carers in person this year." said Christopher Lillington, Assistant Headteacher.

Prince Henry’s continues to go from strength to strength. Our continued success was exemplified this summer, when our GCSE and A level students once again achieved outstanding results through dedication to their learning, together with the expert teaching, guidance and support from our committed and talented staff.

At our Open Evening we will be presenting a programme of activities and displays from 6.00pm to 8.30pm - see a preview of the programme here. As well as having the opportunity to talk to staff and students, you will be able to see something of what goes on in the different areas of the curriculum and try some of the hands-on activities on offer. Our Headteacher, Sally Bishop, will give a short introduction to the school at the following times, where you will also have the opportunity to hear from some of our new Year 7 students:

  • · 6.00pm – 6.25pm
  • · 6.45pm – 7.10pm
  • · 7.30pm – 7.55pm

Please note that capacity in our Main Hall is limited and so, when you arrive, you may be asked to attend a later presentation. We would appreciate your support in keeping all members of our community safe by ensuring that anyone who is displaying symptoms of Covid-19, or who has tested positive for Covid-19, does not attend the event.

Given the limited availability of car parking on site and to support our environmental sustainability efforts, please avoid travelling by car if you live in close proximity to the school.
