SKI TRIP STEALS A 'PISTE' OF OUR HEARTS

Over the Easter holidays, a team of ten staff took 100 students on the Ski Trip to Folgarida in Italy.

The 82 beginners made fantastic progress and were soon shooting down blue runs, while the advanced and intermediate groups worked really well on technique and speed. Trip leader Sian Ellis said “This was the biggest ski trip we have ever taken, and it was quite a challenge getting 100 students up and down a gondola to the ski area each day!”

I think it’s fair to say that Folgarida stole a ‘piste’ of our hearts in Easter 2023! So much so that we are pleased to announce we’ll be returning back to the Dolomites for our ski trip in Easter 2024.

Students will be travelling to the Unesco World Heritage Site eager to test their resilience, explore Italian culture and learn a skill for life. It will be a full-board 6-day trip running from 30th March to 5th April.

Included are flights and transfers to and from the airport. Once in Folgarida, students will receive 4 hours of tuition a day which will turn your child from Bambi on Ice to Lindsay Vonn in a matter of days. When the skiing is done for the day, attention will shift to the evening activities, a different one each night, including the likes of Karaoke and Ice Skating!

The tour operator we have chosen to go with again is Max Ski. If you would like any more details, please contact the school office or Mr Watts, who will be running the trip.

Ski You later!
