ART TRIP SOAKS UP THE CULTURE

Thirty sixth form Art & Photography students visited Holland to experience a wide range of art to support their A level coursework.

They visited the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedlijk Museum of Modern Art in Amsterdam. On one of the days, the group also travelled to the beautiful Kroller Muller Museum near Arnhem, where they rode the famous white bikes (with no brakes!) to look at sculpture in the outdoors.

Faculty Leader for Art Shane Green said “It’s a short but sweet trip where students are able to soak up the history and culture of Amsterdam and then apply it to their coursework.”
