In Textiles, students from Year 10 and 11 got the opportunity to ‘channel their inner Versace’ by entering the Young Designer of the Year competition, designing outfits that are both multifunctional and sustainable.
The Year 10 Textiles students and some Year 9 students entered this competition - Young Fashion Designer 2023. They had to research sustainability and design 3 outfits based on the research. Eva Jones was awarded you a Highly Commended certificate which means that she made the top ten in the KS4 category overall. This is a fantastic achievement of which we are very proud of.
