Our Sports Leaders ran a great Panathlon event for SEND students from Prince Henry's, Benton Park, Guiseley, Horsforth and Ralph Thoresby schools as part of a Leeds School Sport challenge.
Our Sixth Form Debate Team are performing extremely well at the English Speaking Union's Mace Debating Competition, storming through to the Regional iInals.
We hosted the latest round of the Leeds Schools' Cross Country Competition at Wharfemeadows, and we are so proud of our staff for organising and the amazing performances by our students!
Last week, the U16 Netball Squad travelled to Sunderland to play Whitburn CofE Academy in Round 3 of the Sisters in Sport National Netball Plate. PHGS won 41-33.

It was the clash of the ages as the U16 Boys' Rugby Team took on the U17 Boys' Rugby Team in difficult weather conditions! It was a very spirited match, with end to end play throughout.
Year 12 & 13 Food Science and Nutrition students visited Rudding Park, to learn how an operation of that size is run.
Our Year 7 and 8 Netballers and Rugby Teams had a great weekend in Newcastle, playing against some tough opposition. We are so proud of how they dug in and played.
Year 10 and 11 students enjoyed a seasonal trip to the Leeds Playhouse production of A Christmas Carol.
A group of Sixth Formers organised an annual Christmas Food Bank Appeal, doing their bit to support the Otley Food Bank. The food bank appeal is part of the ASDAN Level 3 Personal Effectiveness course, which helps young people develop their skills in teamwork and employability.
Students from across the years at Prince Henry’s were rewarded for their achievements in all areas at the annual Prince Henry's Celebration Evening at Otley Common. Over 500 students, invited guests, proud parents and carers and staff enjoyed the experience, as Guest Speaker and ex-student, Katherine Hannah, sports journalist for BBC Radio Leeds, handed out awards.
