We’re so excited to announce the brand new Community Swim Times at Chippindale Pool  🏊‍♂️

Here are the new Public Swim Sessions open to everyone:

🗓 Tuesday – Public Swim: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
🌅 Wednesday – Early Bird Swim: 6:30 am – 7:30 am
🌅 Saturday – Early Bird Public Swim: 7:30 am – 8:30 am
👨‍👩‍👧 Saturday – Family Fun Swim: 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

💰 Swim Prices

Family Fun Swim (1.5 hours):
👩 Adult – £8
👧 Junior (3–12 yrs) – £5
🍼 Under 3 – FREE
👴 60+ – £6

Public Swim (1 hour):
👩 Adult – £6
👧 Junior (3–12 yrs) – £3
🍼 Under 3 – FREE
👴 60+ – £4

We’re introducing a brand-new loyalty app so our regular swimmers can enjoy even more value. Full details will be shared very soon — watch this space! 📲

🚿 Showers & Boilers Update
While our temporary boilers are in place, the showers in the changing rooms aren’t heating up just yet. The delay is due to a bat infestation which has delayed the works but rest assured, the permanent boilers are due to be installed late September/early October 

👉 Please arrive “beach ready” where possible.
👉 If you’d like a hot shower, we have heated ones available further down the corridor — just ask our staff, and they’ll guide you.

📚 Primary School Swimming
We’re passionate about helping every child in our community learn this vital life skill. This term we’ve already welcomed Ashfield Primary and St Joseph’s Primary, who have had fantastic success in the water. After October half-term, we’re excited to add Wharton’s Primary to the timetable too! 🏊‍♀️✨

By working with local schools, we’re making swimming more accessible and enjoyable for all children in Otley and beyond. 💙

✨ Floating Soundbaths are coming to Otley ✨

We’re so excited to share that Floating Soundbaths will soon be arriving in Otley, at our very own Chippindale Pool: please see below more details:

Picture yourself drifting weightlessly on your own airbed, cocooned in a soft blanket, candlelight flickering and the pool warm around you, as the soft vibrations of crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes ripple through the water and into your whole being.

This is more than rest – it’s a deep surrender, a moment to be held by sound, to soften, release, and return to yourself.

Dates will be announced soon, but the invitation is already here: to float, to listen, to be still.
