New Sponsor fills the Gap
The First XV at Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley are celebrating this week, as not only are they through to the Yorkshire Cup Final, they have also secured a sponsor for their new kit – Waingap Construction.
Established for over 20 years, Waingap Contracts Ltd specialises in all construction trades across every sector, working nationwide offering a design and build service and well as a traditional construction approach.
“We are very grateful to Waingap for their generous sponsorship. Their values of seeking excellence in all they do fits perfectly with our team’s approach and it will be great to give the new kit a run out in the Yorkshire Cup Final.” said Toby Atkin, PE Teacher and team coach.
The First XV is one of four teams from Prince Henry’s who made the Yorkshire Cup Final this season. Rugby is just one of the many sports supported in Sixth Form by the Excellence in Sport and Education programme, which allows athletes to pursue their sport at a high level alongside their studies. Alumni include Olympic Bronze Medallist Harry Hepworth.
