School awarded Equal Access to Football Award

We were delighted to receive the Football Foundation Equal Access to Football Award in the post this week

The award recognises that we give equal access to girls and boys in football in both curriculum PE and extra-curricular clubs.

"It's great to receive this recognition from the Football Foundation. Equal access to all sports is the backbone of our work at Prince Henry's. As parents and carers will know, students enjoy a wide variety of sports at school, with notable successes for our girls' teams in those sports which were traditionally male-dominated. The Community 3G pitch has meant that we have more girls playing football and rugby at school than ever before and the pitch has also allowed us to grow girls cricket and field our first ever girls only cricket team.” said Dave Curtis, PE Faculty Leader.
