Located in the heart of Otley, Prince Henry’s Grammar School is a thriving and inclusive secondary school with more than 1,600 students. Recently recognised as Outstanding in all areas, the school has been praised for its remarkable breadth of opportunities beyond the classroom. From sport and the arts to environmental initiatives and equality work, Prince Henry’s offers students a truly exceptional experience that helps them grow both academically and personally.

Community sits at the heart of the school. Every year, Year 10 students volunteer locally, while hundreds of pupils take part in initiatives such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The school also opens its doors to the wider community through sports clubs and its Community Education programme, which welcomes more than 500 adults annually.

Headteacher Sally Bishop said "This is a lovely and welcomed celebration of how hard our staff in particular work every day both in and out of the classroom to help our students really flourish. For them to be recognised by parents and carers and local people in this way is truly special. It is great to know that our staff’s efforts are appreciated by our community.
