Drama Students Triumph in Heartwarming Production of Common Room

Audiences were treated to an unforgettable evening of theatre recently as GCSE and A Level Drama students took to the stage for their highly anticipated production of Common Room.

Set in a Yorkshire sixth form, the original romantic comedy offered a poignant, funny, and deeply relatable snapshot of modern teenage life. At its heart, the play beautifully tackled the universal question: "Does growing up have to mean letting go?"

The brilliant script was written by Mrs Burton, capturing the authentic wit and emotional depth of teenage life, while Mr Weston’s expert direction brought the bustling, chaotic, and heartwarming world of the common room to life.

The cast, comprised entirely of dedicated GCSE and A Level Drama students, delivered standout performances that blew audiences away. The young actors showed immense maturity and talent, earning rapturous applause at every curtain call.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making Common Room such a fantastic, memorable success!
