    Chef/Catering Manager 

    NJC Grade SO1 - SO2 Scale Points 23-28

    Actual Salary £31,210.14 to £35,486.42 Per Annum

    Permanent – 37.5 Hours Per Week (6:30am until 2:30pm)

    Term-Time Only, plus 12 Additional Days 

    Required 1st September 2026

    Prince Henry's are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Chef / Catering Manager to lead our long-established in-house catering service, which is very well regarded by students, staff and visitors to the school.

    The successful candidate will have :

    • Experience of working in a large busy commercial kitchen environment
    • Experience of managing a high-volume catering operation and of leading a team
    • A valid food hygiene certificate at Level 3 or above (or commitment to complete)
    • An appropriate Chef / Cookery / Catering qualification (e.g. NVQ / City 7 Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent

    The starting salary is negotiable up to NJC SO2, subject to demonstration of relevant experience in a similar role.
